CRUEL AND UNUSUAL TREATMENT: EFFECTIVE MEDIA SKILLS
2-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP
FOR SENIOR EXECUTIVES AND COMPANY SPOKESPEOPLE

OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM

In today’s media-driven world where the snappy sound bite often replaces thoughtful argument and discussion, it is vital
that executives from both the public and private sectors know how to conduct themselves in media encounters and convey
their messages as well as project their image through television, radio and print.

This 2-day workshop, offered exclusively by ASC Training, will focus on what to do and what not to do in media interviews
– both print and broadcast.  The workshop will also examine the new media landscape including the rise of investigative
journalism and the effect this has on businesses and individuals.  Delegates will learn the Golden Rules in conducting
effective media interviews and will have the opportunity to demonstrate them in role play videotaped sessions.

The course will also examine the way the media operate in a crisis and you will learn the key steps necessary in crisis
