PR FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT STAFF
This fast-paced workshop is designed specifically for professional support staff working in PR departments or
agencies. It covers the basics of PR and includes an analysis of what PR is; PR in the marketing mix; key tools and
techniques; as well as PR and the media. The program will be of value to all levels of support staff, but particularly
those who would like a better understanding of the public relations business.
The workshop also focuses on the critical role that support staff play in terms of meeting deadlines, fielding media calls,
managing sensitive information, assisting with special PR events, and monitoring budgets. It also provides the
opportunity for those in the support and administrative functions to meet others in similar roles and share knowledge
and best practice, as well as make new contacts.
